Is there a metro station in Karapakkam?
One is planned on the elevated OMR section of Corridor 3. Nothing is running yet and the line is currently targeted for 2027, having slipped before. Station names on this corridor have been revised, so check CMRL for the current list.
Is Karapakkam good for KCG College students?
It's the closest area to the campus. PG demand around colleges here comes mainly from day scholars, students who've left hostel after first year, and interns on placement. Ask whether a PG is set up for students or for IT tenants, because meal timings, gate timings and crowd differ substantially.
